The workshop was held in the head office and targeted UAE National Employees (Non-Shareholders) to familiarize them with the benefits of joining the family of Union Coop shareholders.

Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE through the ‘Happiness and Marketing Department’ and organized by the ‘Human Resources and Emiratization Department’ held three informative workshops to cover all the non-shareholder UAE National Employees.

The informative workshops were hosted by Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Happiness & Marketing Director and Ms. Huda Salem Saif, Senior Communication Section Manager, who presented a detailed clarification on the benefits of being a Union Coop shareholder and inviting all UAE Nationals to purchase Union Coop shares, which was implemented in ‘September’ 2019.

During the workshop, the HRE Dept. announced the launch of a new delightful initiative to financially support the UAE National employees with a ‘loan for the purpose of buying shares’ and become a Union Coop shareholder.

Al Bastaki stated: “Joining Union Coop employees increases job affiliation and has a direct impact on increasing productivity and raising the level of happiness, as belongingness generates a sense of ownership and pride.” Dr. urged all Emirati employees to join and benefit from becoming a shareholder through the return on the investment and various shareholders’ happiness programs.

The three workshops were well received by the attendees, and a large number of them began to register and join the shareholder membership directly.
