A part of its Employee Happiness and Wellbeing initiatives, Union Coop conducts such camps regularly

Dubai, UAE:

Union Coop, UAE’s largest Consumer Cooperative organized a Medical Camp in the Staff Accommodation through the Human Resources and Emiratization Department’s ‘Employee Happiness Unit’.

The free medical checkup camp was held in coordination with DOCIB Clinic and a total of 688 employees were benefitted. Services provided by the camp included: Vitals checking, GP Consultation and Dental Consultation, in addition to guiding the employees on ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle through a healthy diet. Such initiatives fall within Union Coop’s framework of promoting Employee Happiness and Health through the implementation of various programs and unique events.

“Health is a paramount subject of our life and we wish that our employees are always healthy – physically and mentally. A healthy employee will be a happy employee, who ultimately will serve the consumer in the best manner while leading a fruitful life. At Union Coop, Employee Happiness is one of the fundamentals that over the brief period has enabled us to create a culture based on ‘Happiness’ and ‘trust’,” said Mr. AHMAD SALEM BIN KENAID AL FALASI, the Human Resources & Emiratization Director, who praised Mr. Tariq Alserkal – Staff Accommodation Unit Head for brilliantly coordinating the camp and making it a success like always.
