Emiratisation and Recruitment Assistant Section Head

Strategic Initiatives:
1. Support Department Director in preparing department strategy through providing input to strategy and recommend improvements to department policy ,
2. Develop section’s policies, procedures and process, direct and monitor the implementation of procedures and controls covering all section activity.
3. Participate in the Business Planning /forecasting processes and prepare operational budget of the section
4. Forecast workforce requirements for the section
5. Participate with Internal Control Dept. for identifying any risks that may affect area of business activities and hinder the organization form achieving its objectives.
6. Devise risk mitigation action plans in relations to their area of business activity and implementation of the same within due timeline.
7. Participate with other departments for devising and implementing risk mitigation plans for joint risks.
8. Submit reports regularly outlining actions taken and risk status, along with recommendations for further actions and continuous improvements

Functional Responsibilities:
9. Identify, develop and implement Recruitment strategy, and objectives in line with HRE Strategy and workforce budget.
10. Authorize offer letters/  Employment Contracts within approved budget and policy guidelines
11. Ensure the accuracy of offer letter , employment contract as per policy guidelines
12. Develop and implement Selection Criteria to enable identifying the best fit job incumbents
13. Advise Line Managers and Business Unit Heads, on recruitment best practice and selection criteria; ensuring that line managers are effectively completing recruitment procedure.
14. Conduct campus recruitment as and when required
15. Responsible for end- to- end recruitment of selected positions and achieving individual goal
16. Responsible evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment process/ sources via identifying the right metrics and track accordingly, recommends alternatives, corrective measures
17. Participate in the interviewing process as and when required to ensure the effectiveness of the procedure.
18. Ensure reference check is conducted in line with Policy guidelines
19. Ensure that periodic report are submitted to Section Head on a regular Basis, regarding the vacancy status of the organization in order to review the progress in recruitment.
20. Oversee Help Desk to ensure that requests are attended to in timely, friendly and professional manner

People Management:
1. Set objectives and key performance indicators for the section as well as individual objectives of  the team
2. Monitor , appraise and enhance team‘s performance
3. Develop talent within the team by providing coaching, on the job training, provision of formal and informal feedback
4. Ensure capability development of the employees by identifying  training needs , performance improvement and  development plans of the team
